Structural Analysis

ETRECTE LLC provides structural analysis of industrial, commercial and residential buildings for the determination of the effects of solar equipment loads including solar panels, mounting members as well as mounting methods on physical structures and their components.

As the very substantional part of the structural analysis ETRECTE LLC certifyes the existing roof structures and determines the roof structure to be capable of supporting the load imposed by the proposed solar panel system installation. The roof structures certification shall meet the standards specified in applicable Local and State Building Codes (for instance 2010 New York Building Code). The

Structural Certified Proposed Solar Sytem Installation is capable of supporting snow loads equal to 30 PSF and wind loads equal to 110 MPH (as per 2010 NYSBC).

Nowadays the demand for clean, renewable energy sources is increasing. In order to collect solar power effectively, it is necessary to use large areas of solar panels properly aligned to the sun. A wide variety of design solutions is suggested so as to achieve maximum efficiency.Following this trend, the implementation of large area solar arrays is considered to be a necessity.

ETRECTE LLC provides design approaches and implementation of the existing supporting structures to achieve the maximum overall efficiency. They are loaded mainly by aerodynamic forces. International regulations (Consequently both EUROCODE and CFD model must be used) as well as the competition between industries define that they must withstand the enormous loads that result from air velocities over 120 km/h. Furthermore, they must have a life expectancy of more than 20 years.
